I initially contacted Patrick because I was fed up with my lack of progress in the gym. I had been lifting regularly for a couple of years yet was still very much novice level in terms of strength, and I felt like I was spinning my wheels doing programs that changed too frequently. On hiring Patrick, his personalised programming had me squatting, benching and deadlifting 2-3 times per week and I finally started progressing. Within a few months I hit two major goals of mine: a bodyweight squat and an unassisted chin up.
Before hiring Patrick I was in the middle of dieting down slowly following a bulk. Under Patrick's guidance, I lost the remaining bulk weight quickly and began a second bulk at a much slower pace than my first. The photos on the left are from when I started working with Patrick mid-cut, and on the right are a year later at the same weight mid-bulk. It's been really exciting to see the visible changes in my body composition thanks to Patrick's coaching and I'm looking forward to seeing what more my body is capable of!
